Hi, I'm Mr. Kilgore, and I'm so happy to be a part of the team here at Forest Ridge! I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre and Television Arts (along with a Minor in Mathematics) from Valparaiso University. In 1998, I founded a non-profit children's touring theatre called The Giving Tree Theatre Company. I served as Artistic Director of The Giving Tree for six years, writing, producing and acting in more than a half-dozen different plays for children! Some of the shows I wrote and performed in for The Giving Tree included: TABITHA TOODLEMEYER, YOUR PANTS ARE ON FIRE!, MINDY ANNA JONES AND THE QUEST FOR KING ABACUS, and SLEEPING JUDY AND THE ATOMIC MISFITS. The Giving Tree gave more than 400 performances of these and other shows at elementary schools throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana - including several performances right here at Forest Ridge!
