The drama program at Forest Ridge Academy provides students with the
opportunity to develop a wide range of skills in a variety of areas. By
participating in theatre games and creative drama, students will become more
confident in communicating their own thoughts and ideas. Through role-
playing, they will derive a better understanding of human relationships and
the world around them, and they will learn to identify with people whose
lives may differ from their own. By developing and producing theatrical
performances, they will learn problem solving, critical thinking and
teamwork. They will also gain an appreciation for the history and practice
of theatre as an art form.
