My name is Jeremy Johnson, and I am the 5th grade and Middle School Science
and Algebra 1 Honors teacher for the 2009-2010 school year. My education
includes a BS in Biology and a MS in Biology with a focus on Ecology from
Purdue University. This is my second year teaching at Forest Ridge Academy,
and I am excited to join the FRA team full-time this year! Along with
teaching at FRA last year, my instructional history includes teaching a wide
variety of science courses at the University level (at Purdue University
Calumet and Indiana University Northwest).
I am very excited for this upcoming school year, and look forward to meeting
all of my students and parents. This year, some students will have the
opportunity to participate in Science Olympiad, and everyone will enjoy a
variety of exciting educational activities throughout the school year. You

My mission for the 5th Grade science, Middle School science, and the Honors
Algebra I students is to actively engage in learning through a variety of
methods including: lectures, labs, field trips, guest speakers, and a variety
of other hands-on activities.
