5th Grade.

Material for 5th grade is presented in the form of a book, workbook, notebook, videos, games, and verbal communication. Additionally, when the children have field trips/special events, the vocabulary learned will reflect their event.

In 5th grade the program reviews to build all of information of years past. The children will be reading, writing and speaking, and translating paragraphs. The themes learned this year are: greetings, introductions, the alphabet, numbers (phone & home address), days of the week, weather, classroom phrases, afterschool activities, describing yourself, telling time, describing locations, expressing feelings, all about foods, asking questions, clothing, places & events, introduction to :verbs- to be, to have, to like; stem changing verbs, definite & indefinite articles & possesive adjectives.

The overall goal for 5th grade students is that, at the end of the year, the children review words and themes they have learned in the past read, write, pronounce, translate as well as make up their own paragraphs.
