Material for 3rd grade is presented in the form of a book,workbook, notebook, videos, songs, games, and verbal communication. Additionally, when the children have field trips/special events, the vocabulary learned will reflect their event.
In 3rd grade the program becomes much more structured. The children will be reading, writing and speaking, and translating sentences. The themes learned this year are: review the house, learn the rooms & their furniture, seasons & weather, the calendar, telling time, a fiesta, vacations & continue with gender word difference.
The overall goal for 3rd grade students is that, at the end of the year, most of the children will be able read, write, pronounce, translate as well as make up their own more complex sentences.
