There is information on the school's website under my name about my
grammar classes, my attendance policy, my homework policy, and my grading
policy. Hopefully, this will answer all of your questions.
My homework assignments are posted weekly on my website under the name
of the class. This way your child can start getting caught up on any missed
assignments once s/he is feeling better and able to do some homework before
returning to school.
I appreciate knowing ahead of time when your children will miss my class
due to medical appointments or planned family vacations. This enables them
to work ahead on assignments and feel less overwhelmed when they return to
school!
Checking your child's grades online weekly keeps you informed about any
graded work we have been doing in class as well as alert you to scheduled
test dates. Once my grades are recorded and posted, students are free to
take any work in their folders for extra review at home as long as they
return these papers when they are finished with them. This prevents losing
any papers before I send them home for parents to look over at the end of
each chapter.
