Skills Test (4th-8th)

  1. What type of skills test are given for (4th-8th)?

What type of skills test are given for (4th-8th)?

* Bags -(30 sec.)- Jumping back and forth with two feet over a 7 
1/4" beam.

* Push-ups - (3 mins.) - Boys and girls do the same type of
standard push-up.

* Sit-ups - (45 sec.) - Arms are crossed over chest and student
must touch their bent legs with either their forearm or go over
the top of their legs.
Students must touch their shoulder blades on the ground before
coming back up.

* Jump Rope - (1 min.) - Two feet jump rope.

* Pylometric Box Jumps (40 sec.) - Jumping with two feet on top
of 12" platform and jumping back to ground.

* Up/Downs (45 sec.) - A jumping jack, then squatting down to
place your hands on the ground and kicking your feet back
(somewhat into a push-up
position) and then going right back into a jumping jack.

* Dots - (4th & 5th) 3X sequence(up and back is 1)-Feet apart,
feet together,
rt. foot, lt. foot, and 180 turn.

* Dots - (6th-8th) 4X sequence - same as the other dots listed
above.

* 1/2 mile run (4th & 5th)

* 1 mile run (6th-8th)

x1 to x4 is 3ft
x1 to x3 is 22 inches

*all measurements are from center of dot to center of dot
