Born in Evansville and attended Reitz High School. Worked in veterinary
hospitals as an on the job trained technician for 12 years before becoming a
Licensed Practical Nurse in 1992. Worked at St. Vincent Hospital on the
Neuro floor and at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana with all kinds of
patients. Became a teacher in Health Occupations 2001 by creating the
Veterinary Assisting class for high schools students. Have a teaching
license in Health Occupations and Animal Science as well as nursing license
and massage therapist license. Married with no children. Currently without
a pet. Recently lost Abygail, beloved Abyssinian cat who was 12 years old
when she died of cardiomyopathy. Hopefully will get another pet soon.
