Ok kids. Get your thinking caps on!
Over the past few years, our community's recycling input has
dramatically decreased. That is why our mayor is planning a huge
environmental month that promotes recycling, but here's the catch. Unlike
past recycling events, this time the mayor wants to focus on one specific
material to have our citizens recycle. It is your job to pick what you
think is the best material. In order to accomplish this task you will:
*Work in a group of three.
*Take on the role as one of the three environmentalist.
*Individually be responisible for three given materials.
*Research your materials through the use of technology.
*Place your three materials in order (number one being the worst for
the environment).
*Cooperate with your whole group and put all 9 materials in order.
*Take your number one worst material and create a flyer that will
convince the citizens to recycle that material.
*Share your results with the whole class.
Come on all you environmentalists! We've got some land to save!
