Process

To complete your task, you must complete the following steps in order:

1.)In your group of three, decide who will recieve which of the three roles.

2.)Go to the home page and click on your role to find out what three
   materials you will be researching.

3.)Use the provided web sites on your role page to research your materials.

4.)After thoroughly researching your materials, on a piece of paper list
your three materials in order depending on how bad they are for the
environment (number one being the worst.)

5.)Along with this list, include a paragraph for each material stating why
you listed it in the order you did. For example, what is so bad/good
   about that material?

6.)Once every member of your group has finished their individual research,
come together and allow everyone to share their lists, explanations, and
thoughts with the rest of your group.

7.)After all 9 materials are discussed, it is your job as a group to take all
the materials and create one big list from 1-9 (number one being
the worst for the environment.)Choose wisely.

8.)Once your group comes to an agreement, you need to take your number 1
material and create a flyer for the mayor (your teacher will provide the
supplies.) The mayor is going to put your flyer up in town to help
promote her environmental month of recycling. Therefore, your flyer is
going to be used to convice your community to recycle your chosen
   material.

9.)Each group is to share their flyer with the class. Explain why you
picked that material.(You may be able to convince the community, but what
about your class? Give it a shot!)
