Ms. Elliott teaches Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade Technology. She graduated from the
College of Charleston, in South Carolina, with a major in Elementary Education. This is her third year
teaching at St. Joseph and previously taught Second Grade in Atlanta, Georgia. She loves integrating
other subject areas while teaching and applying technology skills.
My name is Mrs. Holter, and I am thrilled to begin my first year of teaching here at St. Joe! I
graduated with majors in Psychology and Computer Applications from Notre Dame. Following
graduation I was fortunate enough to be a part of the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) program
where I received my Master in Education. I have taught in Lake Charles, Louisiana; Chicago, Illinois;
Madison, Wisconsin, and now South Bend. She has primarily been a homeroom teacher in all grades
3-6, but has also taught all grades K-8 for some period of time.
I am very excited to be working with so many age groups here at St. Joe as well as the teachers to
create projects and programs that will enrich the curriculum with many aspects of technology and
media.
Outside of school time I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family. My husband teaches with the
ACE Leadership program at Notre Dame. My daughters Anna and Julia are lovable and have a zest for
life. They are both looking forward to joining me in the next couple of years here at St. Joe, so we
can be at the same "schooltime."
Computer Mission: The students will be able to choose and use appropriate technology for specific
purposes. Students will learn to advocate and apply positive social and ethical behaviors when using
technology. The students will become effective communicators through a variety of appropriate
technologies/media that will prepare them for high school, college and beyond.
St. Joseph School Mission: The Christian education community of Saint Joseph School believes in the
individuality of each student. It is a collective effort by teachers, parents and the parish community to
foster the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical and social development of our children.
St. Joseph School Vision: Saint Joseph School is a Catholic faith community including students, faculty,
and parents working to achieve the highest potential in all academic, faith, and interpersonal areas.
