My name is Brittany Gelchion (which is very new to me as I just got
married in July), and I am so excited to be joining the St. Joseph Grade
School community this year! I earned both my Bachelor’s Degree in Political
Science and Sociology and my Master’s Degree in Education at the University
of Notre Dame. I have just moved back to South Bend after two years of
teaching fourth grade in the Tampa Bay area through the Alliance for Catholic
Education (we’ll see how I readjust to the winter here in the coming months!).
I love to teach and to share our Catholic faith with young people, and I
am looking forward to a productive and enjoyable year for all of us. I have
high expectations for all my students and am very willing and eager to work
with them to ensure that our goals of learning, loving and growing together
are met, and I thank you for your support and assistance. I feel extremely
blessed to be here at St. Joe and to share in this momentous year with you
and your child. Thank you so much!
