Research Instructions
Time to do some research! Go to the first link below (Writing a Research
Paper for Your Science Fair Project) and READ THE PAGE. Pay close attention
to the "Key Info" box at the top of the page.
Fill in the Background Research Plan Worksheet.
Fill in the Research Checklist as you complete the tasks.
For the Practice Research Paper the topic is "cloning".
Please make sure
that you not only describe how cloning happens, but also touch on the moral
and ethical implications for cloning plants, animals, and possibly humans.
Make sure to include the current stance on these issues.
You need to type one page paper, 12 pt font, Times New Roman, double spaced,
with a title page that includes your name date and homeroom. Make sure that
there is NOT a heading on your typed paper! You need to use the two
research links provided below (wikipedia, and genome.gov), and you are
required to find a third source of your own.
All of your citations MUST be submitted through Noodle Tools and you must
include at least one notecard from each source.
You will receive a rubric in class.
