The eighth grade students have just completed small group research projects about several Spanish-speaking countries. Their research was presented in either a newspaper format or a newscast. We learned about the history, economy, current events, art/music/literature, sports and foods from Costa Rica, Equatorial Guinea, El Salvador, Spain, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Uruguay and Argentina. The students do AMAZING work!!!
The seventh grade students are currently presenting research they've completed on Spanish-speaking people who have influenced the world. We have become familiar with a variety historical figures including; authors, artists, musicians, political figures, athletes, etc.
