8A/8R Describe a sporting event in which you played or were a spectator this past week. What time did
the game begin? Who did you want to win? What sport do you prefer? Who was the game between or
against?
Use as many vocabulary words as possible. The verbs involved are all stem-changing-your writing
needs to reflect this.
