Language Arts-
As a class we have developed a great deal of schema (background knowledge) about a variety of
authors' writing. We will begin to research each author's life and share what we have learned in a power
point presentation we will be creating over the month of February.
Science-
We will be getting messy in science class as we build models of land and water and study the ways
these two elements effect one another. As we make changes to our models we will discover the factors
that influence erosion and how we can try to control those factors.
