I've been a teacher for 19 years in Kindergarten, 3rd grade, 4th
grade, 5th grade, now 6th grade, and 7th grade. I taught four years when I
graduated from college. I didn't return to teaching full-time until our son
was in junior high.
My greatest "high" is watching that light come on when a student understands
something with which he has struggled.
We have a "Trulove Tribe" motto (coined from Harry Wong):
