Bonjour!!!! The elementary and junior high school kids in the gifted program have been very busy this past nine weeks. Some of my kids have been working on research and projects about the Wright brothers, some kids are using their problem solving skills to solve mysteries and we've even learned about Sir Isaac Newton. At the high school level, the kids have been busy applying for scholarships, preparing for ACT assessments, and preparing a sports web site!
Upcoming activities:
The junior high school kids (grades 6-8) are preparing to go to the Steamboat Arabia in Kansas City at the end of October. Here they will tour the museum and don lab coats and assist the technicians in cleaning artifacts. The high school kids will be visiting the campus of Fort Hays University in November to meet advisors and review courses.
