Dec. 21 Christmas Party 2:30 - 3:35
Mrs. Elliot
First Grade: April 24, 2009
Thank you so very much to the parents of Jessica, Cajsa, and Trevor for the
wonderful Easter party that you had for our First Grade. I am so very sorry
that I missed it and was told that it was just GREAT!! Thank you also dear
parents and students for being patient with me as I recooperated from knee
surgery. I had planned to gone only a week...but the surgery was more
intensive than what it was initially planned to be. I am so very glad to be
back with this super class of kids!
We will go on our field trip to Superior, NE. on May 6th. We'll leave at
8:30 and arrive back at school around 3:00. Please send a $5.00 fee and a
sack lunch to school for your child. We can hardly wait!
We have been studying about spring, Easter, weather and ecology. We have
finished our Math, Spelling, and Reading series and are reviewing what we
have learned. Soon we will begin the end of the year testing.
Please have your child bring a game for show and tell...I guess that
this "show and tell" got "lost" while I was gone. The last show and tell for
the year will be to bring an item of art (painting, sculpture, book of art,
collage, etc). The students may bring these show and tells' any time now.
Thanks so much for all of your help and support!
