Your child will be bringing home a math homework sheet almost
every night. It shouldn't take long to complete, but it needs to be done at
home with a parent, and returned the following day.
Your child also receives a new set of word cards each Monday. Those
words will be in their book bags each night so practice can be done at home.
The words need to come back to school every morning. At the end of the
quarter I will check to see if your child has quick recall of each word, and
see how many of the words your child is able to spell on a written test.
Remind your child to select books from the library that they can
read to you, and practice those books two-three times before returning them
with the completed log.
