Math
We will have math homework copied on yellow. It will come home 4-5 nights per
week once it begins. Expect it by the end of the first 2 weeks. It is due
the very next day.
Spelling
We will have spelling copied on green papers. Homework will only come home
about once a week. This will not begin until sometime in January. Watch the
newsletters for updates.
Reading Homework
Once we begin AR we ask that your child read and take 2 tests per week that
are in their reading range.
Below are the words that each child is expected to know by the end of
first grade. Each elementary school in our district agreed upon 50 sight
words per quarter. If you need help with ideas to practice see your child's
classroom teacher. If you see any obvious errors please contact Mrs.
McClimans or Mrs. Gragg.
