If your first grader wants to bring Chapstick to school, it is fine, and even recommended. We do ask, however, that there are initials on the tube and that it be kept either in a coat pocket or a backpack. Any tubes found without intials are disposed of to prevent the sharing of germs.
St. John School will be a site for H1N1 vaccinations (nasal and injections) on Thursday, November 19, from 4-6. Refer to the health department web site for permission forms and information about who is eligible.
