Week of November 9-13
In Chapter 3, the fourth graders will study addition and subtraction of whole
numbers. Most of this will be a review. The children know the mechanics of
adding and subtracting, but they are often too slow with computing sums and
differences. Please practice the basic facts with your children. Find fun
ways to reinforce those skills. It makes the work so much easier when they
are proficient with the facts.
