School Year 2012-2013
The focus of fifth grade religion is to help the students grow in
communion and intimacy, with Jesus Christ. During our sessions, we talk about
how the Holy Spirit dwells within the Church and within each person, inviting
us to a deeper faith, a deeper hope, and a deeper love for God.
Prayer is an essential part of my time with the students and is an
integral part of the Faith First catechetical process. Each lesson begins
with a decade of the rosary. A prayerful environment will make the in-be-
tween times of discussion and activity more meaningful.
