Vocabulary/Spelling
Vocabulary students will be working on Unit 15. Spelling students will be
working on Unit 17. I have asked the students to take their books home every
night. Hopefully, they are studying a little each night and
not just on Thursday night for their test on Friday. All vocabulary and
spelling assignments are due by Friday.

Creative Writing
The fifth graders have been hired by the St. John Catholic School Auction
Office. They will be writing thank you letters to Mr. Anderson of Anderson
Rentals for his generous donation of the white tent that was attached to the
gym doors and the round tables that were used on Saturday night in the gym.
To start, the fifth graders will design their own letterhead. If everything
goes as planned, the letterhead and the brainstorming will be finished this
week!
