Our goal is to provide a safe environment for kids of all ages to come where
they participate in a study hall and can choose to take part in arts and
crafts or to play group games.
Our day starts by picking up the children who are attending After School
Care and walking them over to the church, where we provide a snack and take
attendance. Children should come prepared with homework or a book to read
when they come to After School Care. We ask that the children sit quietly
for thirty minutes of study hall each day. During study hall the after
school care staff is available to help children with their homework or to
read to the younger children.
After study hall we then go outside for recess. We play group games like
kickball, basketball, or do relay games. They can also play with any of the
equipment provided.
When recess is over we line up to go inside. When inside, children are given
the choice of what they would like to do. Activities include: Arts &
Crafts, Group Games, Dramatic play area, and Technology.
