Welcome back! I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing break. I will be very
happy to see the kindergartners. Oh, how I've missed those smiling faces!
Here is a look at some of the activities we have planned for the week of
January 4.
Monday: In addition to catching up with all of our friends, we will spend a
little time reviewing our addition skills and play a rousing game of Name
That Vowel.
Tuesday: It's been a while since we have added a new entry to our writing
journals. We will review our journal writing process as a class. We will
also review our measuring skills using our rulers.
Wednesday: After yesterday's journal writing lesson, we will use our skills
to add a new entry into our writing journals. We will also spend some time
painting.
Thursday: In addition to Mass and our classroom meeting, will spend some
time reviewing our color words.
Friday: We will begin studying about the state of Kansas by planting wheat
and sunflowers. We will also review our addition skills and spend some time
reviewing our letter sounds using the laptops.
