Here is a look at some of the activities we have planned for the week of
November 2.
Monday: The beginning reader books will be out again as we use our popcorn
words and letter sounds. We will also play number bingo. Kimmy Kangaroo
will arrive to help us with the letter Kk.
Tuesday: Journal writing will take center stage as we begin to introduce new
words to our word garden. We will also review our addition skills and work
on an art project involving our handprints.
Wednesday: Winkie Walrus will arrive to help us with our letter Ww. We will
also create family portraits and continue to discuss families.
Thursday: In addition to our classroom meeting, we will use our letter
sounds to work with a new word family. We will also review our graphing
skills as we create a graph based on the number of people in our families.
Friday: The tempera paints will be out for our little artists. We will also
work to improve our addition skills and spend some time playing Kids vs.
Teacher.
