***UPDATE for week of Nov. 2nd***
Another short week for the kiddos! Please take a few moments to remind your
student to practice this week. If they feel comfortable with the material
they were assigned, please have them go further in their book.
Our college level guest has been rescheduled for this Thursday! She was sick
last week and felt that it was important to not infect the students, which we
all can appreciate. We will have her in band to perform for us on her
clarinet this Thursday. The trumpet player that I had lined up has classes
every day at 8am, so we're trying to come up with another plan as far as
trumpet goes.
GENERAL INFO
6th Grade Band meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings and we begin
promptly at 7:30am. Students need to use the main door and make their way
down to the music room to set up their equipment.
Instruments and books need to be clearly marked with the student's name.
Students may leave their instruments in the music room or their homeroom
classroom during the day and pick them up after school. Also, the music room
is locked overnight in case students need to leave their instruments.
