I am beginning my 29th year at St. Joseph's! I have always taught
Second Grade. I am a product of St. Joseph's as well. I grew up in Shawnee
with my four brothers and four sisters. My husband's name is Greg and he is
also from a large Shawnee St.Joe family.
I have a 23 year old daughter, Kristen, who just graduated from nursing
school at Johnson County Junior College. My son Eric,21, is a senior at KU. My
youngest, Brendan, is 17 and a senior at St. Thomas Aquinas.
I attended college at Benedictine for 1 year. I then attended and
graduated from Kansas University and am an avid Jayhawk fan! I have many,
many graduate hours with an emphasis in Reading. I have a minor in Religious
Studies. Outside of school, I am busy being a MOM. I enjoy walking,reading
and gardening in my free time. I also enjoy watching my son's football and
rugby games.Go Saints!
My mission is to foster a love for learning in a Catholic enviornment. I
believe that each child is unique and has special talents. I want to help
each child discover their potential while building good self-esteem and a
passion for learning. I want to develop each child's Catholic faith
and a closer relationship with God. For Jesus said, "Let the little children
come to me and do not hinder them for the kingdom of God is theirs."
