The 2009-2010 school year is Mrs. Ketron's ninth year teaching Kindergarten at
Rochester Elementary. She enjoys working with the students and families at
Rochester.
Mrs. Ketron grew up in the Seaman school district. She went to Elmont,
Northern Hills, and Seaman High School. Mrs. Ketron went to
Washburn University and in 1997 she received her Bachelor of
Education degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education.
Upon graduation Mrs. Ketron worked one year for Let's Help in their
at-risk preschool program. She then worked three years at Auburn
Elementary where she taught kindergarten in the morning and an
at-risk preschool in the afternoon. Mrs. Ketron has been at Rochester since
then.
Mrs. Ketron finished her Masters in Education/Reading in December 2003.
Mrs. Ketron lives in Meriden with her husband, Heath. They have two
handsome sons. Colton is a third grader and Brock is a first grader.
Mrs. Ketron had a beautiful little girl on November 6, 2008. Her name is
Ashton. Mrs. Ketron loves spending time with her family and friends. She also
enjoys reading and scrapbooking.
Mrs. Ketron will provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum where
all students will learn and develop at their level in a safe environment.
