The faculty and staff welcome all new students to our school. We hope to make our new friends feel a part of the Locust Grove family right away. All new students will be greeted by their classroom teacher, as well as me- our school counselor. They will receive a new student bag filled with goodies to take home. Also, new students will participate in a new student group to learn more about our school and whom they need to know. One of our bulletion boards in the lobby proudly shows pictures of our newest lions. All students and staff are encouraged to wear our school colors (burgundy, navy blue and gold). Spiritwear sales occur throughout the school year.I am always available to help new students whom are experiencing difficulty with their school transition.
