Updated for August, 2011
Confidentiality training will be offered to all family members and friends planning on being involved at Locust Grove for any reason this year. All parents, guardians and family members (aunts, uncles, grandparents) must attend this training in order to participate in school activities (volunteering in classrooms, the library, chaperoning field trips, attending classroom celebrations, working at field day in May, eating lunch in the cafeteria, etc.). The confidentiality of each of our students deserves the utmost respect and through education, our volunteers will learn the guidelines of what we expect to occur when volunteering or visiting our school. The training is brief, but essential if you plan on being involved at our school (and we would love your help!).
The training will be offered six times at the beginning of this school year and lasts approx. 15 minutes. Morning and evening sessions are offered to reach both working and stay-at-home parents. Registering prior to attending is not expected. If you are unable to attend one of the following dates, please stop by the Locust Grove library to watch the training video. It is loaded onto one of the computers for easy viewing. Scheduling before dropping by to watch is not required. We only request that parents stop by between 7:30 AM and 2:00 PM.
- Monday, August 15th at 9:00 AM (in the cafeteria)
- Wednesday, August 17th at 9:00 AM (in the cafeteria)
- Thursday, August 18th at 7:00 PM during the PTA meeting (in the gym)
- Friday, August 19th at 9:00 AM (in the cafeteria)
- Wednesday, August 24th at 7:00 PM (in the cafeteria)
- Tuesday, August 30th at 7:00 PM (in the cafeteria)
Thank you for all you do for our students!
