MAP TESTING IN April/May

Our students will MAP test in April/May. NWEA Measures of Academic Progress® (MAP®) tests present students with engaging, age-appropriate content. As a student responds to questions, the test responds to the student, adjusting up or down in difficulty. The result is a rewarding experience for the student, and a wealth of detailed information for teachers, parents and administrators.

The underlying data driving the assessment ensures remarkable accuracy, based on over 24 million assessments given over 30+ years. The equal-interval RIT scale increases the stability, providing grade-independent analysis of a child's learning.

For educators, it means at last having timely information that, used well, can change the course of a student's schoolyear — and life.

Kindergarten Pre-registration

Corbin Primary is now registering students for the 2013-2014 school year. Any parent or guardian wishing to enroll a student must have the following documents to receive a placement for the upcoming school year:

-Birth Certificate
-Up to date Immunization Card
-Proof of physical examination on or before August 5th 2012
-Vision Exam
-Dental Screening
-Hearing Screening
-Social Security Card

Beginning April 15th any parent may register a student during the hours is 9-2 each day. During the Summer, you may register a student Monday-Friday 8-4 daily. It is the mission of Corbin Primary to help each child to be the very best he or she can be and we look forward to serving you and you family.

Tumble Book Library E-Book Access E-books anytime, anywhere! Search by reading program or interest level. Students use login and password provided by Corbin Primary School.

Follett E-Books Follett E-Shelf Teachers access Follett E-Shelf to project E-Books on interactive white boards. These books are a great support to our curriculum.

Destiny Quest Destiny Quest Destiny Quest is a visually engaging library search interface designed to appeal to the 21st century learner.
