Ambassadors' Rules and Procedures

Agendas

At the start of the year, all students will receive an agenda planner to use throughtout the school year. Agendas are an excellent way for students to organize themselves. In addition, agendas serve as a daily resource for school policy, a great commmunication tool for parents and teachers, and the only hall passes that will be used at Highland Middle School. Students should have agendas in class each day. Agendas should be signed by a parent/guardian each night.

Absences

Any absent student will have the number of days missed plus one day to make up work. For example, if a student is absent on Monday and returns Tuesday, their make-up work would be due on Thursday.

Grade Reports

Ambassador teachers will send home mid-term progress reports each grading period. Report cards go home at the end of each grading period. They should be signed & returned.
