NOTE: Spontaneous changes in our class schedule or homework may necessitate changes which may or may not be listed on this website. Please use your child's Agenda as the must updated homework source.

READING LOG:

Mrs. Crisp's language arts students have a standing homework assignment to read their independent reading novels each week. All students must read no less than 120 minutes (2 hours) per week, although many students have set their weekly reading goals much higher!

(Students are encouraged to meet these goals but are not penalized if they are unable to meet them from time to time, provided that they read the minimum number of minutes.) Reading Logs reflect page numbers, text vocabulary, and personal responses. All Reading Logs require a parent signature each week to verify reading time.

Students & Parents: I upload many of our class handouts/resources to my Downloadable Documents page on this website. You can access it from my home page. If you are absent or lose an important paper, check here for assignment sheets, notes, PowerPoint presentations, etc.

This Week's Homework:

Reading Logs due 11/14 (black classes) or 11/17 (teal classes)
Magic folder work not able to be completed in class will be finished at home whenever possible during the upcoming week.
