ACADEMIC TEAM 2008-2009

Our FIRST meeting of the year will be on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH, in Mrs. Easton's classroom (110). Please stop by for this brief meeting - we will provide you with needed information, and this will also provide you with the opportunity to sign up for one or more areas of interest, which include the following:

• Written Assessments: Science, Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and/or Arts and Humanities
• Writing Composition (check with Mrs. Easton for further details/information)
• Future Problem Solving Team (check with Mrs. Easton or Mrs. Green for further information)
• Quick Recall Team (check with Mrs. Easton or Mrs. Green for additional information)

We are looking for new team members to participate in practices and competitions including the Sixth-Grade Showcase and district, regional, and state Governor's Cup! We have lots of fun (as well as refreshments!) during our practices and competitions, so please contact us and/or join us on September 10 to find out more information.

We will determine our practice schedules and provide you with the name(s) of your coach(es), dates and times for practices, and dates for Sixth-Grade Showcase and Governor's Cup (district, regional, and state).
