-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

PLEASE NOTE:
I am available every Monday after school until 4:30 to help any student who
may need assistance in Language Arts. Please have your student let me know
if they plan to stay after school for help. Thanks!

All students should be reading at least 20 minutes per night in order to
keep up with the required reading.

All students have chosen their book project presentation date for the 2nd
marking period. It should be written in their agenda.

Students will need to complete 2 AR books and two hooked-on-books cards this
and all future marking periods.

This marking period all students should be reading a biography or
autobiography for one of their books.

All AR tests and Hooked on Books cards are due January 15th.

SPELLING

Spelling lists MUST be typed. Many students do not write neatly
enough for someone else to read the words. Typing them ensures not only
neatness but correct spelling if completed in word perfect.

Spelling lists are due the day of your next vocabulary test-be sure to make
two typed copies - one for me, one for you.

Spelling words due:
Teal classes - Tuesday, January 13
Black classes - Monday, January 12

VOCABULARY - next assessment
Teal classes - Tuesday, January 13
Black classes - Monday, January 12

PERSONAL NARRATIVE (P.N.)

Next version due
TBD

Students must have two typed copies, saved on their jump/flash drive, and
saved on their s:drive here at school. Class time the day it is due will not
be spent printing copies of personal narratives.
