Lesson 1
The 5 groups of Vertebrates
1. Amphibians
2. Reptiles
3. Birds
4. Fish
5. Mammals
Students will watch a series of short videos on each group and take notes.
Lesson 2
1. Warm-Up - Classification Reveiw
2. Survey of the 5 groups of vertebrates - students will use information from
videos, textbook and other sources to create a collage of the 5 groups of
vertebrates. They will be given most of the class to work on this with a
partner.
Lesson 3
1. Continue working on collages
2. Most classes have earned a Mythbusters video (earn points for good
behavior). Those that haven't will share collages and review the 5 kingdoms.
Lesson 4
GO TO THE ZOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
