The assessment for the Manifest Destiny will be on the first class the week of April 2. Students need to choose a method of study (explanation on Study Guide), write a reflection of that method, and also need to get a verification signature from a parent on that form. There will be NO retake opportunity on this test, so be prepared!
Some students did not get to see the Lewis and Clark DVD in class. Some information for the test will be about their journey. I've put a Power Point lesson in the Manifest Destiny page for those students to view to catch them up. Take notes about:
•Where do they go? (places, waterways)
•What do they see and experience along the way?
•Who do they meet? (Indians and others)
•In what ways do they record their journey?
