Announcements

 Each week we will be sending home one Reconciliation lesson in a special folder.  Please help your child to complete it and return by the next Tuesday. This is counted as homework.   
         In Math, we are working on place value. Some need help counting to 100 and knowing number order. Ask your child,
   "What number is one more than ___?  One less?  Ten more? Ten less?
         Many of the children need practice at home with counting by 5's and 10's and recognizing coins.  They should know how much each coin is worth.  


Please continue to practice tying shoes with your child.

For February home reading, the children will color a part of a heart for each 15  minutes they read at home.

   We go out to play every day unless the temperature or wind chill is truly freezing. Even if the temperature is supposed to be warm by dismissal, it is often cold at 11:30! Please remind your child to wear a coat. Sometimes the monitors do not let them go out to recess unless they have a coat.
