Welcome to 1B! I'm excited about starting a new year with my first
graders.This will be my 34th year of teaching primary children. First grade is
such a fun grade to teach--you will be amazed how much your child will grow this

I believe in helping each child to grow as a whole child, academically,
socially, and spiritually. Children learn many important skills in first
grade that are the foundation for a successful school career and for life. I
try to instill a love of reading in my students. Reading well is critical as
well as enjoyable.
