Parents,
We have started our money unit.  Please practice ways to count money using pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. We have been "exchanging" money also.  We will be having our shopping day soon.  Please send in any items you would like to donate for our store.  We will be having a second shopping day in late Feb.or early March. 

February Book It is a big heart with 15 inside the puzzle shapes.  Students are to read 15 minutes a night to start completing the shapes. When all shapes are colored in, please send to school to receive a free kids size pizza coupon.

This Saturday, February 4, is a very important Sacrament Workshop.  Please read the yellow paper in your Wednesday folder for details. It is very important for all the children to be there with at least one parent. Please do not bring siblings because this is a special time to share your faith with your child.  Your child will be receiving their First Reconciliation in March.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT GRADELINK

P.S.  On Grade link a check plus for work graded is scored at a 10 under points, 100 under percentages, or O for Outstanding.  If your child makes a check the score is reflected with an 8 under points, 80 under percentages, and S for Satisfactory.  A check minus therefore would be a score of  7 under points, 70 under percentages, and a N for Needs Improvement.  A U will be scores below 7, and an IC means Incomplete.  The Incomplete Score may be there only because your child has not completed the work in class, and is still going to have time to complete the work at a later date.  There are days that our time is interrupted.  Don't be worried about an IC for up to a week.  I will give students time to complete the work and adjust this in Grade link.  This IC is just a way for me to keep track of who hasn't turned in their work.  Any questions please email me or call me.
