I have been in the field of education many years. I have my Masters Degree
from U of L with an endorsement in early childhood education. I began in JCPS
teaching 5th and 6th grades and finally 2nd grade. I "retired" to have more
time at home with my own children and taught part time at Christ Lutheran
Kindergarten for 8 years.
When St Martha began their Kindergarten program, I was fortunate to be the one
to help initiate it. It's hard to believe that this is my 19th year here! I
have seen many changes in the curriculum, but one thing remains unchanged -
being able to see the world through the eyes of a Kindergartner! I truly love
this age child, and the growth and learning that takes place between August
and May is remarkable.
My husband and I will be married 40 years this October. We have three grown
daughters, two granddaughters and two grandsons we adore. We both attended the
University of Louisville and are big Cardinal fans!
