Welcome to the St. Martha School Junior High Science Lab website.
Click on the tabs at the left to find helpful information about our junior high science program. Now that classes have been populated on Sycamore, all homework and class documents have been posted there as well as on this site. I will only be posting daily sponge activities on this site but all homework and class documents are posted on both sites. I have a link to this site on Sycamore for your convenience. Information about the science program including links to practice tests can now be found on both this site and Sycamore.
As of March 1, homework, class documents and study materials are only being published on Sycamore. Daily sponges are still being published on this site.
I am pleased to announce that the Prentice Hall
textbook is now available online at
. The password for the seventh grade textbook is science7 and for the eighth grade book is science8 (all lower case, na spaces). Students were given their usernames in class on Tuesday, September 1 and told to write them in their planner. Contact Ms. Hayden by email if the username has been lost. This online book works best on desktop or laptop computers rather than on a tablet.
I am looking forward to a great year. Please be patient as we transition to the Sycamore system.
Before School Computer Lab:
Beginning August 25, I will have the computer lab open before school for students to work on school projects and to print out papers for class. It will be open from 7:00 am - 7:45 am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. It will NOT be open on Mondays. Student may enter the building at the door near church if they arrive before 7:30 and ask permission of the teacher on duty to come to the computer lab.
