How do I know what kinds of opportunities are available with the PTA?

The PTA is always in need of volunteers and opportunities vary throughout the
year. A volunteer sheet will be provided at the start of the school year that
provides a brief description of the various opportunities available. Volunteer
sheets will be available in the office throughout the school year and here on
the Web site in the near future. Some 'jobs' require a specific time
commitment and schedule and some are ad hoc. Some require time availability
during school hours and some can be done whenever it's convenient for the
volunteer. Some require specific skills and some just require a willing heart.
There are lots of opportunities for every kind of skill level and availability.

How do I stay current on PTA information?

The PTA maintains this Web site, publishes a monthly newsletter sent home in
the first Wednesday green folder of the month, can be found on Facebook and
disseminates info weekly through Gator eBriefs, a free, automated email system
sent to subscribers each Monday. Additionally, notes and flyers are sent home
as reminders throughout the year and we maintain a bulletin board in the main
hallway across from the office.
