Play The Word Game:

Flash the word cards to your child. If the child knows the word, he/she gets to keep it. If not, you get to keep it. Can your child win the most cards? All the cards?

Have your child practice counting objects such as pennies or beans. Many children have memorized counting to 50, but can not actually count with 1 to 1 correspondence, so they count 15 objects but say a different number.
