I am a graduate of the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts in
Education. I have been teaching for 9 years with this being my 5th year at
Abney Elementary.
I have been married to my wonderful husband for four years and we have a two
year old little girl that is the light of my eyes!
I am a very vibrant and fun-loving teacher! We have lots of fun in my
classroom, but there is also a time to be serious. I implement many things
in my classroom including: PBS, KAGAN, and CHAMPs.
I love frappuccinos from Starbucks and watching football on the weekends!
I am looking forward to ANOTHER great year!!!!!
My mission for our class is that every child will feel valued and
respected. I want our class to be "a family" at school. I want each child
to reach his or her full potential academically, socially, and personally.
My mission for this class is to guide the students to become academic high
achievers, realizing that means different things for different students. I
hope to foster a class of students that love and respect each other, while
appreciating individual differences.
