Hello, My name is Kiaun Williams and I am your child's second grade

this year. I am a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. I attended Marion
Abramson High School for three years and receive my high school diploma from
Mt. Hermon High School where I was saluatorian of my graduating class. I am
a graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge. I earned a degree in Mass

elementary education from Southeastern University in Hammond. I am currently
obtaining my Masters in Education from Southeastern University. I am also a
mentor teacher at Alton. This job allows me to work in group settings and
one on one with teachers. I assist teachers with cultivating their teaching
practices to meeting the needs of their students. I have been a
first grade teacher for four years. This is my second year teaching
third grade. I was voted "Teacher of the Year" for the 2008/2009
school year. I would appreciate your help and support as I transition your
child from good to great. Feel free to contact the school if you wish to
schedule a conference.
I govern my class by this motto, "To always be fair, firm and consistant."
I have great expectations for my students.
