I received my B.A., in Elementary Education, from the University of New
Orleans. In May of 2011 I completed my Masters in Educational Technology and
Leadership, through Northwestern University Louisiana. I am certified to
teach Physical Education K-12. I was born and raised in Slidell. This is
my 6th year teaching at Alton. While at Alton I have discovered my passion

My goal is to create an environment where students can develop self-control,
character, and discipline while becoming academic achievers.
Teaching is a never-ending adventure. There is always new information to
learn and new students to influence.

sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove….but the world may be
different because I was important in the life of a child.”
