Homework is assigned, nightly unless otherwise noted. Parents, I ask that you
please have your child practice his/her multiplication facts nightly, study
spelling words and continue reading nights to obtain AR goals.
All good efforts will be rewarded!
SPELLING WORDS will be sent home usually on Friday. This will help the
students take advantage of preparing for the upcoming week. Pratice test are
usually given on Wednesaday with the final test being given on Fridays
(unless otherwise noted)

SPELLING WORDS FOR WEEK OF READING VOCABULARY: Occasionally students will be
given a study guide with definitions listed. Other times, students will have
to define words that they will need to keep in their notebooks/binders.
Vocabulary words and
definitions:
MATH - Students would benefit also from learning his / her Math facts through
rote memory. Students should be studying multiplication facts to help with
division, multiplication of decimals, whole numbers, algebra, and fraction
skills we will be working on this month. We are also learning Prime and
Composite factors by using divisiblity rules,founding the rule when using a
table, and algebraic expressions.
